Born in 1969 and raised under the guidance of two great parents,
John has had a long career in the advertising and art world...
Working with his cleo-award winning father, the late designer
Jean Charles Massé, John
poured out comps for Frito-Lay, Ore-Ida, Centrum and Hiram Walker. After
hand-painting over
50 mural exhibits in the Reptile House at The Zoological Society of Buffalo,
John became their
one-man ad department. After designing the 9,000 sq. ft. "Funhouse" in
Orchard Park, he moved
to Las Vegas where he began Massé Graphics, designing clothing lines
for casino retail. From there
he entered every aspect of the commercial art world, and hasn't slept since.
Working with the best of the best, John has created many award-winning
illustrations for advertising, books, billboards
and posters. He has created many logo and corporate identity packages,
done stage and scenic work for major
corporations, created storyboards for television and movies, designed characters
for animation and video games, produced award-winning radio spots, and art
directed a four-minute animated short with Encore Productions for intel.
His distinguished list of clients include Encore Productions,
R&R Partners, Paris Hotel & Casino, MGM Grand, intel,
White Wolf Publishing, Copper Media, Mandalay Sports Entertainment, Mirage
Hotel & Casino, SKG Advertising, IBM,
Westwood Studios, Club Paradise, Century Productions, Paul Mitchell, Rio
Hotel & Casino, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino,
Park Place Entertainment, J. Walter Thompson, the UAW, Boeing...and the
list keeps growing.
He currently lives between Las Vegas and Miami with his dog
and cat. He plays
mean rock piano, has an interesting resumé as a stage actor, enjoys
fine cooking, owns a gallery
of paintings and is shopping a screenplay he wrote with director Gil Cope.
